We had sand for a few inches and then hard red clay, and white concrete clay! This little post hole digger was a boss in the dirt!

Work s great in dirt ,but don't hit a rock, it will stop the auger dead and if you have not a good grip it will hurt you ,, other than that it works great

Ordered digger for small fencing job- 30 post holes. It performed flawlessly, more than paid for itself. Contractor wanted 5k for the job, I did it for 1600.00 in materials including the cost of the digger. $$$$ saved!

Very pleased! Easy to assemble, and if you follow the instructions, it will start almost immediately. Not a very big unit, but it does the job very nicely. Small enough for one person to handle easily great little machine!

The Pins in the extension bar you have to drill out. The pressure on the bolts/pins won’t allow you to pull out. When you finally hammer or drill out the pins for the extension, the pins are bent.

Used this today on 4 large holes, near a bunch of trees, lots of roots, At first, I thought the thinness of the augers would be a problem, but it cut right threw everything, the motor did bog down once or twice but I was pushing too hard maybe, GREAT tool for the price

For the money, this was worth it!

I bought this because renting a post hole digger was going to cost me around the same amount. I have numerous projects to use this for but the biggest was peers for a 16 x 36 shed. It dug every hole with a 12 inch auger bit without a problem. I would like to see a heavier duty throttle handle but overall this was a very easy to use rugged machine.

Ran it multiple days and times with break in between no hesitation on starting, gets the holes drilled, would be nice if there was a reverse as sometimes I get jammed up and would be nice to reverse out but other then that works great
