The spring kit was an exact replacement. It came with the bars to tension, a wrench, and even a pair of gloves. Affordable, complete, what more can you ask for.

These springs were an exact match to replace my old springs one of which had broken. I appreciate the fact that this kit came along with the tensioner rods and a set of gloves as well as a wrench. The install was not very complicated I found it most difficult actually to get the tension correct evenly on both sides of the garage door but that had more to do with the cable than it did the actual springs. If you're moderately handy you could do this in about an hour's time!

I had the Wayne Dalton spring system and the spring broke. I decided to change over to a conventional spring system because the other system had too many parts that were destined to fail sooner or later. I did some research on the springs I would need and decided on these. Easy installation, fast delivery and a very reasonable price. Couldn't be happier.

With the right tools and provided instructions it was easy to replaced. Springs look well made but time will tell. Be sure to release spring tension of old working spring first. Count the number if quarter turns of the old spring. Measuring old spring to determine spring size before ordering is important.

After 6 days of on-off work, just made some final touches, I have the spring installed!! The product comes with a simple wrench, a glove, a pair of winding bars, and a very brief instruction. However, it does not include the Center Plastic Bushing, which I believe is necessary and I just used the one from my old spring. The L-R marks are misleading because it depends on which way you face the door. The right-hand-index-thumb rule is correct I gave 5 stars because of the value of the product. Recommend doing sufficient homework before starting to install, as it could be extremely dangerous due to high spring power if not careful. Due to the missing bushing, I had to put it on and take it off 4 times and ended up breaking one major screw and my ratcheting handle. Spent $16 to buy another ratcheting handle to finish the installation. With all of that, I'm still happy with the product because it runs much smoother and quieter than the old springs.

This arrived quickly and in great shape. I have a 7'x9' foot door so I only needed one spring. But the price for both of this was cheaper than just one from other sellers. I've only installed about 4 torsion springs before this so I'm no expert. But the springs look very well made and strong. And the included winding bars, gloves and wrench was a nice touch. I liked that you don't have to oil spring after you install it. It took less than 30 minutes to take broken one off and install the new one. The door goes up with less effort than it ever did with old spring. I don't know how long it will last, but if it does last I couldn't be happier with it.

I saved a lot of money doing it my self for the 1st time . Don't let people scare you just take your time and stay clear out the way and you'll be fine

Work pretty well - easy to install as it comes with tools. The cables kept jumping the drums so had to put an extra L bracket on each side to keep it on track. 29 quarter turns did the trick.
