I’m rating this based on service, not the product. Unfortunately I bought the wrong size torsion springs, maybe not Vevor fault but I did feel like there could have been a better way to help me determine the correct size. The most disappointing thing I’m finding about Vevor is it’s impossible to return or even get help doing anything. Vevor wants a video showing how it’s not working. The first thing, it’s just about impossible to make an hour long video and second, it’s dangerous dealing with torsion springs just to say I bought the wrong size.

We were going to change out a broken spring with this ourselves and chickened out. The garage door repairman said these were a quality replacement, even better than the springs we had.

Job done in a couple of hours. Awesome bonus that the winding bars were provided in the kit. Played it safe and tensioned a bit lower ( less 1/4 turns). A lot of recommendations were for 30 or 31 1/4 turns. I did 27 1/4 turns initially and the door was quite light/fast. Springs settled in over a week and then I added a couple more 1/4 turns and it had been perfect ever since. YouTube has all the instructions you will need..make sure to watch several videos if not sure before you start pulling things apart and stand to the side when winding the springs up or down as there are dangers if you are not paying attention. Dont have pets or kids running around when you do this. The door is heavy and things under tension can shoot out at you without warning if you are not careful. Proceed at own risk and if you are not sure get someone who knows what they are doing for peace of mind.

Had a problem and talked to customer service. I did not receive an answer for my question. Not sure who I chatted with, but he was terrible! I will not purchase anything from your company again!

A company quoted my $850 to replace my door springs. After watching a youtube video, I spent some $60 on these and carefully did it myself in about an hour, saving a fortune. These came with tools, gloves, everything you need to get the job done!
