The tool is simple enough, but usage instruction was lacking regarding the manual pumping approach. I only needed to pump up to a point, and the suction created will take over. If the suction is lost, you pump in intervals and do not continuously pump. So I almost destroyed mine on first use, as I was pumping the heck out of it and was getting sweaty and tired, and I'm like, this can't be the intended use case. I went back to the documentation, which was unclear to me, so I had to start hunting YouTube vids, and even those focused more on using compressed air, which I didn't have. I came across on that helped me recognise a few things and got things working. The cleanup part could use some refinement as you just throw out the contents, but with motor oil, when you get to the last bit of it is stubborn to come out so it's a bit of a pain in that regard. Plus I still had to turn remove my drain plug to be sure, and there still was a bit of the old oil in it, not a lot, but enough to say yea it was a good idea to open the drain plug. Other than that it is a decent product. I would assume the paired with the compressor it would remove more oil. But I would have to test it to be sure.
