This oil extractor is truly a time saver for performing oil change at home. I wasn’t sold on the extractor until I removed the drain plug after using the extractor. There was only a few drops of oil coming out the drain hole. Total time for an oil changes now take no more than 15 minutes once the engine is fully warm up.

I've already used this to remove and replace the transmission fluid on my Sienna. It works as advertised. I'm not sure how it compares with the MityVac, but it's half the price and it works. My only complaint is that the quart and liter markings on the side are hard to see. Too bad they're not black or red.

It took me some troubleshooting but was able to suction out oil out of my 2017 VW golf after about 1+ hr. Next time will be faster but do not expect this to be 5 min job (probably 30 mins or so). This does seem to get out all the oil, or as much as it can, and generally a reliable tool for the job. I will say I was confused by the 2 different hook ups, only really figured out one. For about 70 this and time it takes I think it’s worth doing on your own vice an auto shop.

Hubby is very satisfied with it. He works on brakes often and he liked the system. Brake bleeding is a breeze.

If you cant get under a vehicle or reach above your head this might be for you. Also, if you manually pump the extractor slow you can remove and replenish power steering fluid or maybe transmission fluid. Be creative. Brain surgery? The possibilities are endless.

It worked as advertised, use it for oil changes on a Yamaha outboard. Made the job easy and clean .

Works perfect for what we needed. The shop likes it and is used weekly. Seem durable and have had no issues.

This is the next best thing to sliced bread. Hook it up and let her suck! By time I got the oil filter changed( and can do that on all my cars through the top) it was done. All of my cars hold 7.5 quarts. I did have to pause for a minute to empty a couple of quarts out. I don’t think it will hold 7.5 or 8 without reaching the full line. Didn’t want to push it and make a mess. I wish I would of bought this years ago. At 68 years old, no more jacks or crawling around on the floor. Sooooo happy with this product.

Recently bought a 2004 Mercedes CLK 500 Convertible and didn't want to be laying on the floor draining the engine oil. Bought this fluid extractor and used it to drain the oil through the dip stick tube. Worked great with my air compressor! Don't use too much air pressure or the extractor will start to collapse. There is a small valve on the extractor you can use to adjust the air pressure. Since the oil filter is changed from above, I was able to do the entire oil change standing in front of the car. Don't need to worry about the drain plug, crush washer, etc. I'll be using this on all my various engines going forward.
