The package doesn’t give me a new feeling. The pipes are in different sizes but short, I have to connect two pipes together to get what I need for A3. Took about a hour complete the suction.

Have Ford Ranger 4.0 Cylinder V6 from 97 with about 130,000 miles. Wanted to monitor the oil better as overfilling can cause oil leaks, burning smell. The pump is worth a try to save mistakes with plug, very clean. Recommend with Amsoil.

Good tool. Tubes are too short.

The unit works well, but is not first-quality. I had to purchase additional hose, as the supplied tube won't reach both to the bottom of the dipstick tube AND across the engine bay to the pump on my small BMW E46. I chose 4 ft. of 1/4 in. rubber fuel line, as it fit both the inlet and nylon tubing tightly, though 3 ft. would have sufficed. I did not use the supplied rubber coupling. It does NOT hold a full 7 quarts of oil, so be careful as you might over do it. No more than 6.5 quarts will fit. I didn't mind leaving the half quart in the engine, because I will be changing it more frequently anyway since I have this handy DIY tool!
