I love the setup, but 2 problems I have. 1.) The instructions does not give Heating element dial temp ranges. 2.) Heating element died after 2 distills. (12 hours total.)

Avoid At All Costs

I know this seems like a tempting offer. I was excited so I purchased on because it has a good price and seemed to be a good bundle to get started making essential oils. The hot plate provided was not hot enough to boil the water so I had to spend more money to get a working part. I found this out later and a month later, I finally got the machine to run and what happens? A vital piece of the glass shatters, not from misuse but it was a faulty piece of boro glass. I reach out to get a refund because at this point I have lost all faith in the product to the company offering me $20 and to keep the rest of the kit which is unusable without the piece that broke. I would avoid. Spend a little more money and buy a copper still or from another company. I am in a week long argument and a complaint with the BBB currently trying to get my money back. BUYER BEWARE.

Good kit for learning with nice glassware and a part selection. I replaced the hot plate as 1000w plate included would not generate enough heat to boil water. The clamps for the stands are very cheap and not trust worthy, they will bind, slip and will drop your beakers if not careful. The kit came very well packed and fast delivery but is to small for my needs.

This bit of gear is a heap of junk don't waste your time and money. Comes with a lot of irreverent bits. The stand is too shortly, it's almost impossible to fit everything together and fit the hot plate under the flask and it is under powered even for the 500ml flask. Shop around there's got to be something better out there.

Great value at modest cost. This complete system allowed me to begin experimental botanical vapor infusions immediately. Packaging is flawless, no damage to any component from thermometer to condensor. An excellent product.

No complaints, it's a good product with everything you need to get started. However, I do recommend switching the heat plate for a better quality one. But other than that, this was an ideal kit for me.

the distillery is nicer than expected. the hot plate is to large for the two neck flat bottom flask, and turns off and on all the time not boiling the water. i will be getting a smaller one from ????
