Not just for welding.
It’s 5° outside tonight and I need to smoke some meat for a party tomorrow. Doing an overnight cook. This blanket works great to help the smoker keep the heat in and insulate it from the elements. Helps to cut down on fuel consumption.

Durable and works well.
I got this to put on my smoker to help hold the heat during the winter. Works great! Perfect size and really helps maintain the heat.

Nice little fire blanket. Use it alot around the garage. Covered gas lines on my jeep to weld frame. Worked great. Well worth the money in my opinion.
