Works like a champ
We have used this to hoist large round bar slugs into our machines. Very reliable. It would be nice if the minimum movement was a little smaller, where sometimes if you press up it goes past where you want. But this is an comparatively inexpensive solution so I don't expect as much.

I purchased this for one project but have used it twice now. Pulled a large freezer out of the basement with a tow strap and appliance dolly. Next will be moving the gun safe out of the basement. Worked like a champ!
