I secured it to a tree to hoist my gantry crane upright 225lbs and once the crane was upright I used it on the gantry crane to hoist my 37x20 full sized spare tire to the roof of my jeep where it was mounted to a platform rack, it weights about 140 lbs. Great for roof top tents and other overland gear that may be too heavy for one person to lift. The Hoist does hang down quite a ways which may require your gantry to be higher mine is 11 feet tall. It did the job & was easy to operate. I used the wired remote this time around and not the wireless remote yet, I'm happy with it and the results.

This winch was well thought out and engineered, feature packed, and at a great price. Truly the best winch value out there! Great Customer Service too! We would recommend this product to anyone who has the need for heavy lifting.

This hoist winch was/is an absolute lifesaver for my husband as he works on repairing his two John Deere lawn tractors in his workshop. What a timesaver as well. Made a tough job much safer for him too.

Could not be happier with result. It is a bit of a project is best with room and a forklift. Installed a MB Tom Cat 23 surf boat and have enough room for 2 more cars.

It has performed well. I used it to lift items up into an overhead attic storage area in the garage. Reliable and consistent performance. It is a little heavy to move around, but that could be improved by replacing the wire rope with textile winch line.
