Main purpose was to be able to store the kayak easier and this was an over kill but you never know when you’ll need to lift over 1000 lbs? Works real well, and. I really am very happy!
Installed two of these on my garage ceiling for bike storage (high ceiling garage). I had to extend the control as the cable is silly short. You need a 4 pole cable for that. But its pretty straight forward and works like a dream.
