genius
The fifth bucket is almost useless. What are does not circulate out of the reservoir bucket into the others without a pump. I'm actually considering buying a net pot and using that for another plant I did have a problem with a leaking valve that was replaced quickly within a week. Things happen it's not a big deal

Everything you need at a good price
I knocked a star off of quality because the air pump is horrible. Luckily I had another on hand. It does not have enough juice to push air through all of the ports but it also does not have a way to control the flow. They need to put a control valve either on the port or include caps for the ports of some kind. Other than that it’s a fantastic system. You get everything you need to get going. I will buy this kit again.

So easy to use.
This system is fabulous! I ordered a set and had it working the next day. I added my plants and they are doing well. I just ordered a second one. I priced it out individually and it would have cost more. I highly recommend this!

Great System
I am using this presently in a greenhouse to grow vegetables. Comes with everything you need except water, meters, plants and nutrients. I also added the Vevor 1/10hp aquarium chiller (it will also control an aquarium heater) to maintain a constant water temperature. Happy with both purchases. Veggies are doing great.

A complete kit, for this price, cant be beat.
I searched high and low, priced out individual components to find the best deal, and nothing came close to this for the price. The components work, everything fits and, so far, there are no leaks.

A great addition to my hydroponic gardening
This deep water culture system is easy to assemble. it shows great quality. The one thing I would recommend is use a heat gun on the tubing that connects the various parts of the air system together. That will soften the tubing and allow it to stretch and fit perfectly over the various connections. You will need to be careful not to overheat the tubing, though.

Great Setup
Look no further than here for the best value on a "Dutch bucket system". The air pump is garbage but even if you had to drop another $40 for a decent one, you'd still be at half the cost (or less) of a comparable system. My only complaint is that there are basically no instructions. I had "leftover parts" and I have no F'ing idea where they go or what they do, so I just taped up the two upper holes and will do without whatever they do.

This could have come with more information about DWC. Everything fit together without leaks. I did buy a better air pump.

Easy to assemble, great customer service. Can,t ask for more. I got 1 bucket leaking . They replaced it right away. Vegetable grow like crazy. Just need to adjust your ph. Or the plant will suffer.

If you want an honest review - here it is
Right off the top, I bought 2 sets of this kit. The buckets w/ the net pot lids are worth the money by themselves. Having said that, here are the negatives. The air pump is garbage. There is no way this thing is rated for 8 air stones simultaneously for anything other than weak bubbles. It's not good enough. As many others have, I bought 2 different 4x pumps (variable) off amazon that do way better. Paid about $30 each. The air stones that come with this kit are terrible as well. Every single one of them broke at the neck when pulling the tube off. Again, that's an easy fix with $20 for a 10 pack of 1" quality stones off amazon. The buckets are quality for sure. The handles are robust and work really well. We are currently growing carolina reapers and I really like the smaller 5" size of the net pot in the lids. Requires less clay pebbles and there is no reason for 8"+ pots when the goal is to have the plant roots touch your nutrients faster. ALL THIS SAID:::: I have some comments about potential improvements. I have deleted the water level tubes. Dumb. Completely unnecessary. I taped off the two top holes and saved the grommets for later use. The bottom hole is PERFECT FOR THE AIR LINE. I cut an 8" tube and inserted into the bottom whole with an air stone attached in the middle of the bottom of the bucket. This way the stone is ALWAYS stationary in the center bottom of the bucket so you get the maximum agitation of the root system. It's a no-brainer. Also, the other end of the air tube is cut to about 2" outside the bottom of the bucket. You attach the backflow check valve and now you have an easy way to change out the buckets. Just disconnect the air tube from the check valve and swap in your prepped bucket. PHOTO INCLUDED. Anyway, this is a great beginner setup. You can play around with what works for you. Last comment: SUPPORT IS TERRIBLE. Sorry but you get what you pay for.
