It is well made and reasonably priced. The only issue that I had is this is made to replace the cable on a machine. I was needing a manual operated drain auger. This is not one of those.

i neglected my sewerline treatment with chemicals for too long......the water would drain 3 gallons in 24 hours in a 4 inch sewer pipe.....i tried my 15 year old rusty 3/8 snake only to have it twist back........after a week the 1/2 inch solid core vervor snake arrived free shipping at 25 pounds. an hour and a halfs work and i blew through the clog......then added a gallon of instapower chemical to finish it off the next day.

Had to modify but it worked great. First thing I did was tack weld the fitting at the end of the drain line to prevent it fro coming apart inside the drain(as another review stated). Upon inspecting the crimp on the end fitting it did not seem as strong as the one on the original 50 foot line so I’m glad I did. Second mod I had to do was install it onto my Bauer drum machine, not the same type of fitting. All I did was bend the fitting with some pliers and cut it down a bit, after a few attempts it fit great. The line does appear to be more flexible than my original 50 foot line but it worked great at the end and I unclogged my main line. I would definitely recommend at the price.

Great price on the cable, but it is very flimsy and not really good for snaking out drains with heavy debris

We are a plumbing company out of Texas. I do believe this could be great for light home use. but he had ours kink and bind up on us after a few uses. Very dangerous. Very springy. We did love that it came with several heads. We are using Valor machines.

It's covered in some kind of oily protectant. I've seen reviews where people didn't seem to understand how the wire cage works. You pull the cable out from the center hole. And then you push it back the same way when you're done. No need for some expensive fancy machine. When you pull the cable out it spins several revolutions every revolution of cable that you remove. Plenty of cutter heads to choose from. Would have been five stars had the cage been double or even triple the size. Much easier to handle the cable in a larger cage.

Awhile back I bought a vevor drain cleaning self feeding machine got the 100' by 3/8 it was on sale so I got it and the cable wasn't very durable ended up ruining it so I bought the 1/2in cable it way better and more durable

Well constructed. Very heavy though. Love the different attachments. Had lots of trouble unwinding it from its enclosed cage. Cut the cage’s crossbars, then bent them all upwards. Used heat-shrink tubing over cuts as they were razor sharp after cutting. It’s way easier to wind up for storing now too.

Severely pisses me off that the original cable that came in the machine was screwed up upon using it the first time so I had to pay out-of-pocket to buy another one. It’s shit bullshit.
