The box came with all the parts and NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PUT ALL THE PIECES TOGETHER. After several attempts to assemble the product (lots of screwing and unscrewing) I finally figured out how it went together. I think the ladder would work better with 2 guides each side as the ladder binds as you try to raise the lower section. I live on the Colorado River which fluctuates up and down daily (controled by dam). That is why I needed a ladder that raised and lowered.

The ladder came with no paperwork, no instructions not even a good photo, I emailed.. called for 2 days before getting a real person and they still never sent instructions..........

Very disappointed that it didn't come with instructions. Product was not delivered to house, driver left it at the end of a 1/4 mile long driveway.

I had to drill holes and get more bolts to attach but this is a great ladder.
