This dock ladder is a beast! It's robust and strong. It took a long time to put it together, there were many screws and the directions were lacking. Good observational skills and common sense will be needed. Other than the lacking directions, the only other concern I have is the bolts that stick out on the inner side of the vertical rails. I worry they will scratch up some legs going up and down. I'm going to switch the direction of them but wanted to put it together as (loosely) instructed for the first go round. It has two height settings, and it's nice and wide for ease of use!

Pros: -This is really heavy duty aluminum. I feel very safe and secure using this. There are some 200+ lb people in my family and they had no issue. -The steps are nice and wide for the average person. -this has a very ergonomic grip and feel to it that is natural. Cons: -Assembling this thing was a pain. The directions are small and hard to follow. I would recommend reading over the entire directions and visualizing where each piece will end up before starting to put it together.

The final assembled ladder is fairly good, strong, rust-resistant, and easy to use. What I was shipped was missing 2 small parts, however I was able to contact Vevor support, and they sent the 2 missing parts. Something that seems a little odd to me is the \"sliding.\" I'm not sure the retractability adds much value, and it doesn't really have a good way to lock it in either the up or down position. I suppose you could tie it or use a ratchet strap, however it's as if the design is incomplete.

Great product for the cost, excellent quality, easy to assemble

The retractable design is so convenient, allowing us to adjust the height based on the water level. The wide, non-slip steps make getting in and out of the water so much easier and safer. The sturdy construction and high weight capacity give us peace of mind, especially with kids and adults using it. It's been a great addition to our dock, and we're so happy with this purchase!

This will be perfect for our dock at our vacation cabin in Minnesota. We've been using a ladder that's been on our dock for years that's too short and narrow and basically a pain to use for some of us that are getting older. This new dock ladder has a retractable design which can adjust from 36\" to 48\" which makes climbing up so much easier. The width is nice at almost 2 feet across. 5 steps with a 12\" space between steps for easy climbing and the steps have a non slip rubber pad for safe usage. The hand rails have a nice feel and attaching to the dock securely should not an issue. Assembly was pretty easy just time consuming. Lots of bolts and nuts but once assembled it looked good and felt pretty durable. I looked at some of the reviews others have posted about this ladder and they seem pretty mixed. I received all the correct parts and my easy to comprehend instructions were included with my order. It seems there were issues in the past but those issues have been corrected. All in all, I cant wait to get this in the water, it will get plenty of use for sure. What is also nice about it is that you can remove it pretty easy for winter storage when the lake freezes. I may fabricate something for a more secure dock attachment but I have to wait and see once I have it in the water. I probably wont have to. I just like to make stuff. I will edit this post if any issues occur but for now Im pretty stoked with it. 5 steps = 5 stars for this one.

This is a great item and is exactly as the Product Page described. It seems to be made of Great Quality Materials and has been working great for me. I'm happy with it and do recommend it.

We got this ladder for our pool and its a perfect addition. We had to figure out how to install without drilling into our concrete and with some elbow grease, we were able to figure something out to still be able to use this. The ladder itself is a great quality and is everything we needed. It's very solid, heavy duty, and is retractable. The material will not rust so it's perfect for outdoors whether its a boat, or a pool. I am very happy with this product, and I also think it's a great price for something that will last a very long time.
