Okay, This unit has some pro's and cons and concerns.Electrical safety concerns: SERIOUS NOTE! As with any CN import electrical tool that isn't certified by anyone be careful! If you aren't sure of how to check it for safety don't buy it. I am a trained doof and I assumed the risk. That being said, I still need to open it up and check to make sure its wired right. A lot of times CN imports (like some hot-air soldering/rework stations) do crazy/shady stuff like switch the neutral instead of the hot and the ground may be funky or stuff might not be insulated right. You need to be ready to pull the plug if this thing pops fuses or starts to smoke and for heavens sake dont touch the case unless you verify the ground! I (like a doof) plugged it in because I needed to clean some things and was antsy to see if it worked before tearing into it. So far so good but I wont leave it un-attended until I verify the wiring. Speaking of safety. You may wish to consider wearing some ear plugs or muffs. I am a little sensitive to high pitch sounds and it was bothering me. My shooting muffs took care of it.CON's: The manual is ABYSMAL! (-1 star!) Its a bad translation of something. Just throw it away/recycle it. Also, the temperature set is funky. If you set lets say 40c and the water is cold it wont show what the temp is. It blinks "00" until it starts to get like above 15c. I thought it was broke at first but kept testing the water with a lab thermometer and yes it was getting warm. Weird. Also, I thought this one had the drain valve on it. NOPE. I like a doof, did not fully read the description. I got the size under the one that has the valve. Meo Culpa.Pro: It didn't explode or catch fire! I did perform the aluminum foil test and it passed. Lots of wrinkles and holes so I know the transducers are working. Cleaning: The items I did clean with it cleaned well with DI water as well as 4:1 and 13:1 concentrations of of DI/Simple Green Extreme. Will move on to more items after I verify the safety.Final: Is it lab quality? No. But it was under a hundred bucks and is cleaning what I want it to clean. Just don't leave this thing plugged in or run un-attended until you are aware of how it works, its safety, and you assume the risks of a non "national testing lab certified" item. I may still buy the next size up (from this vendor) so I can have the drain on it but its meeting my needs for now.
