This is a pretty great hanging scale. The LCD is crisp and visible from a wide range of angles both vertically and horizontally and has a nice bright backlight. The controls are simple and intuitive. The only thing you might need the instructions for are the \"max weight\" function. Otherwise it's pretty much just turn it on and use it. The bottom hook comes with a latch to keep it from falling off the unit which is a nice touch, and the top shackle has a couple of rubber grommets on it to keep it from rattling. The only minor issue I had was that the battery compartment screws are small phillips threaded directly into the aluminum housing without any kind of bushing and mine arrived a bit cross-threaded so the cover doesn't screw down tightly. It's also not water sealed in any way I can see so I'd be nervous about using this in any kind of wet environment. Otherwise I'd say this is good to go!
This hanging scale is a top notch professional scale. It is constructed such that if would have to take intentional abuse to put it out of commission. It's range of .3 to 660 lbs. means that it is capable of weighing most things the average professional would need to weigh. It's bright orange colorvmeans it will be hard to misplace if you don't have a permanent spot to mount it. It's LCD screen (as you can see in the picture) is brightly lit so you can see it in bright sun or normal lighting. It is capable of working in heat and in cold. It has a lock and peak hold functions so you do not lose that weight you need. Bottom line professional scale.
This scale is accurate. We got this mostly to use for traveling, weighing luggage, and such. We have also used it to weigh many items in our garage and it seems to be spot on. It is lightweight for its size but feels sturdy at the same time. Overall happy with it.
This unit seems to measure accurately. I measured with 10/25/45 lb weights and along with the strap/hook attached the measurements looked very close to expected. The only issue was one of the screws was somewhat stripped as can be seen in the picture. Also, notice there is no type of weather protection so if you plan to use this anywhere near saltwater (for weighing fish) be careful with it. Overall, I think it works well though.
I use mine for weighing my suitcase for air travel in order to avoid excess baggage weigh fees. It works perfectly and give accurate weight, it’s very well made, industrial grade, quite capable, durable and lasting. Easy to use, small enough to take with you anywhere you need it. Great product, fantastic scale, very useful.
I hung this in my garage today, tried several known weights ranging from ten pounds to 100. All spot on accurate. I can’t speak for anything heavier than 100 pounds, but I have no reason to believe it isn’t accurate all the way to its limit. The scale seems sturdy and all hardware is heavy duty.
