Made for fish; has a tape measure built into the side. The use of stainless in a lifting device is kind of startling until you remember, again, it's made for fish. I feel confident the size of hooks included won't fail anywhere near the rated load. The display is enormous. If you have vision problems, as I do, this is nice. I dunno about battery life, but it shuts itself off right quick - too quick IMNSHO. For my small shop and my small, cheap hoist on a DIY hoisting cart -- it'll do juuust fine.

Great scale. I was assuming had a max load memory but unfortunately it does not like my other ones.

The crain scale works well. The built in tape measure is a bit odd. The case is not sealed, but should be fine in a light rain.

I was looking for a crane scale the records peak pressure. This is perfect for my weight lifting needs.

The only feature that I would ask for might be a swivel hook for weighing. This would increase the scale's utility.
