I love this heater in my VW Beetle.
I removed the factory heat from my vintage VW Beetle and use this instead. It puts out more than adequate heat for my little car. One nice thing is that I don't have to have the engine running to have heat and I can start this up a few minutes before I leave and I get into a nice warm car. I did some custom duct work so it reheats cabin air. So far everything is working great.

Took a little bit to figure out how to get it working. But after the initial smoky start. It works well

Bang for buck!
This thing is amazing. Takes a few mins to warm up and bam it cranks out a lot of heat! Controller takes a bit to get used to but nothing too complicated

Great value heat source
First off I would like to say that I have received a damaged unit upon inspection before installing so I reached out to the seller and they communicated well and sent me a replacement unit within a week. I’m very pleased with the customer service and would buy from this seller again.I installed this in my school bus/ tiny home and it works awesome to keep us warm in the cold Michigan winter. This thing will kick out some serious heat!Just YouTube how other people have installed Chinese diesel heaters so you get a visual on how it works and you’ll save yourself some time. For the bus, it’s most fuel efficient running on a low setting with another separate complementary heat source.I like the LCD controller version of this heater better than the knob style because the LCD controller has a thermostat that allows you to set a desired temperature and it will show you the current temperature and any error codes that might be causing it to shut down. Once the thermostat reaches the set temperature it will slow down the fan and fuel pump to almost nothing. The LCD controller also has advanced settings if you enter the passcode 1688 where it lets you change the pump and fan speeds which are meant for higher elevations to maximize efficiency.I’ve had 5 Chinese diesel heaters and as long as you receive a completely intact unit not damaged from transportation or manufacturing defects, the only issue I’ve run into with them is that after a while (2 years in my case) the exhaust and the inner body will become very black with soot and need to be cleaned to maintain proper combustion and exhaust. The controller would show an error E-08 code which is lack of fuel or air in fuel line and would shut down. Sometimes the fuel filter needs to be cleaned as well if it’s throwing the E-08 code. One thing to also be aware of is that in extreme cold temperatures, diesel fuel can freeze up or gel if not treated with anti gel.I can definitely recommend these heaters. They are well worth the mone

Works and is as expected
Instructions to install are not any good, but a few YouTube videos and it’s pretty straight forward. Changed out some hardware for better stuff. But worked once primed. Just install and ran for 15 mins. But so far seems like it will work and works as expected.

good auxilliary heater
Ive been using it for a couple months, it puts out some heat for sure. It burns about 8-9 hours on a gallon of road diesel with the default burn settings. It took me a bit to figure out the pairing but once I did, nice.

Impressive heater
This kit is absolutely some assembly required, but you have a lot of flexibility about how you install it. I used the name brand version of these in the past and the only difference is these have a pulse pump rather than the impeller pump. Impeller pump was extremely noisy on the name brand version, pulse pump just needs installed somewhere solid to avoid sounding like a heartbeat. Puts out a tremendous amount of heat. If you put it in an RV it needs to be exhausted where the original heater went out. Use a through hull adapter from eBay. You actually have to drill the hole in the fuel tank for the fuel line yourself...I used a wire coat hanger to pull the fitting through. Hole size should be 3/8 inch. It's obvious where it goes.

Amazing heater!
Got this to replace a small propane heater for my ice fishing tent. This heater ended up being way better than I thought it would be.

Received with broken handle
I received the heater and the handle was broken. I'm sure it happened in shipping. checked the function of the heater and it does work.

Worth every penny. It's not a full featured unit but it certainly performs well. It is solidly built. The only negative I can speak of is that it is billed as an 8KW heater. There is no such thing. It is a 5KW that is overfueled to be called 8KW. Any purchaser should just consider this a 5KW and run it no higher than @ H5. I like it enough that I purchased a second one.
