Powerful Tool
This is a powerful tool. With the correct diamond core bit, it will do the job. I broke my shoulder rest and will need another one.

Works great
I bought this to make holes in a new lava-rock/concrete wall so I can mount an aluminum fence with 2" posts. I didn't get to use it until today and I am really impressed with how well it worked. I only drilled 3 holes because I was learning how to use it but it really was easy. A couple things about how I'm using it.First, I'm not bolting it down like you're supposed to. Instead, I have a 3 foot long 3x4 with a bolt through one end to locate the 2x4 in the drill stand. It's not bolted to the drill, the bolt in the 2x4 just sits in the slot on the drill so the 2x4 won't come out while I'm using it. The other end of the 2x4 has a small piece of 2x4 attached so that the longer 2x4 is essentially level when it's on the drill base. When using the drill I just sit on the 2x4 in order to secure the drill. The second thing is I adjusted the gibs on the drill head so the head can slide very easily and I just use gravity to feel the core bit. The whole setup takes less than 5 minutes to drill and 8 inch deep 4 inch diameter hole.I've got a few hundred holes to drill, hopefully it will last. :)

Hell of a buy
used it it drill 2 8" holes through 7" re-enforced concrete walls. Heavy to place but powered right through. Can't tell you about longevity as I only have 2 holes right now - but this with an 8" bit was far cheaper then pro-drillers and the result is perfect - took about 30 minutes per hole - going slowly. You have to monkey around with the water feed though - not difficult and not that messy if you are careful

Excellent product, terrific price. Would recommend 100xs over. Just what we needed for core drilling.

High Quality, Solid, Good Value
Seems like a great product at a great price. Have not actually used it yet, but the visible quality looks solid and reliable.Item arrived damaged, but it was due to shipping damage. It's quite heavy and awkward and the delivery people or machines messed up the packaging. The main base, although solid metal, had a piece broken off. However, the shipper/manufacturer was very responsive and immediately sent me a replacement base without further action or cost on my part.Very satisfied with my purchase.

Works as advertised. No issues at anytime.

It works and it鈥檚 cheap
Functions well, motor seems pretty powerful. Would like to see a variable speed trigger, a larger base, and better water inlet setup(made my own). But damn if it dosent drill some holes. Got my $ out of it for sure!

Works
Cored a 4" diameter hole through 10" of concrete and precast deck without an issue. Make sure to keep it well flooded with water - if the diamond loads up you can overheat your cutter.

Some Informtion
Just got the 6 in version. The thread to the drill is 1-1/4 7tpi in spite of the 1/2 BSP in the spec, so that is the good news. The supplied drill is a couple of inches shorter than standard, so it would make it through a 12 in wall, but not a 14 in like the standard drills. The column is JUST long enough to accept a standard drill without having to block the base off the surface. The machine is NOT variable speed. It has an on/off switch only. Not the end of the world, but be aware. The label on the motor says 110V 50 Hz, so clearly a product made for the China Market and only slightly reprocessed (it has a US standard plug). It is a universal motor, so the 50/60 Hz thing should not be an issue, but 120V will probably be pushing it a bit. The flip side is that it should be happy on a fairly long extension cord and since it draws 20 Amps, that may be a good thing. Haven't had a chance to drill with it yet, but it looks workable and it is about half the weight of my 10in drill, so a lot easier to horse around for smaller holes. I got it for the 1" to 3" stuff because my big drill doesn't run fast enough to be efficient with small drills and I think it will be fine for that, but the whole setup is pretty light for anything bigger than about 4 inches. My big drill is a predecessor to the Bluerock line and it has been a beast, but it is heavy.
