I bought this because i mistakenly thought it would work on a Ford 10.5. It does work on the carrier bearings, but does not pull the pinion on a 10.5. I am also working on a Dana 60, and it works well on the Dana.

No instructions, look up a video. It is a MACHINE of a tool!
Comes with no instructions, and the description wasn't really clear to me. I figured I'll order it and check it out when re-gearing my Chrysler 9.25 and 8"IFS.The items are basically a stand (to keep everything together mainly), the main tool body with 2 threaded rings and a forcing screw, 3 bearing cups (each with different sized ends - means you have 6 total sizes to fit to bearings), and a sleeve with a bolt to tighten around said bearing cups.Well what it does is PULL off pinion bearings like a LEGEND! literally 2 minutes. You select the appropriate pair of cups, flip them around to get the tightest fit, install the race on top of the pinion bearing you're pulling, place one of the cups around and behind the bearing, place the main body of the tool into the cup you just placed on the bearing, tighten the two rings on main body to preload the tool to the bearing and the cup to the tool, install the second cup against the first to form a circle around the bearing, secure the 2 cups together with the sleeve and snug its bolt, grab your impact, and tighten the forcing screw on the main body. The bearing will come off in seconds, the race you put on it will mean it is undamaged and reusable if needed. If you watch a video on the topic, it's far easier than it sounds. The shim behind the bearing is in like-new condition. This is what I wanted to accomplish, because the stock pinion shim is a good starting point for shimming pinion depth on new gears. This is a very good copy of a much more expensive tool, for way less money. Does professional work.As far as I can tell, this tool is NOT for installing anything. Just removal. Maybe one could MacGuyver something together with this tool to make an installer tool (if you don't have a press like me).Or, maybe the easiest install tool (without a press) is a 0 degree carrier or pinion (freezer) and a 350 degree bearing (oven)?

clamshell bearing puller
Seems to be good quality for China tool. Have to be real carefull and set up tight if clamshell wont drop below inner race and has to pull on cage. Broke first bearing I tried on carrier because I rushed.
