easy to put together

This is a pleasant surprise. The composter couldn't have gone together any easier than it did. Literally, snaps together with ease. Put it to immediate use of kitchen vege scraps, leaves, and other brown matter. The lid clips and holds nicely. This was a feature of other units in the past that didn't work like I hoped. Looking forward to some good compost from this unit.

Of the several compost towers I've used over the years, this was the simplest too put together. It is not heavy heavy duty but it looks like it's going to do the job admirably.

Once it's assembled, it's a little bit floppy until you get enough material inside to stiffen the sides up. For the price I would recommend it.

At first I thought that Amazon forgot a box or two because it fit into one single flat box. I put it together in less than 10 minutes, start to finish. It holds so much compost that I will be able to put all the leaves that I take this fall from my 1/2 acre property. Great for kitchen scraps for gardening next season. Great value for the money.

Other reviewers are correct that this compost bin is somewhat flimsy. Once you have it set up and put 8\"-10\" of materials in it, it will hold its shape and stay put. I like the large capacity and that the capacity is adjustable based on how much you coil up the sheet of perforated plastic. I also like that it is lightweight. When I turn the compost to aerate it, I plan to lift the whole thing up, move it over, and refill it, putting the newest material on the bottom and the more composted material on the top. This will be easy to do since it is very lightweight. I will also be able to open the whole thing up from the side to toss the materials as needed. I've been composting in various bins for 40 years and this is just what I needed to accommodate a larger volume of materials while still being a set-up that is easy to work with.

The reason for the 4 star review. I replaced the fiber rods that came with it with rebar. Ater using the rebar the product worked great. I will be buying another one in the furure

Surprisingly heavy duty plastic. Can be configured to different diameters depending on your needs. It comes rolled tight, so I would recommend unrolling it, weighting down the ends, and leave it in the sun for a day to two to make setup easier. The fiberglass rods could also be thicker and taller. I live in a flat windy area and have to replace them with electric fence posts to keep it from collapsing until more material is added.
