Boy it sure does slice. I bought a slicer and that slicer did slice. I sliced potatoes, apples, pinepples, dog, and even tomatoes. If I had to give it a rating id do 1/10 because it is in first place out of 10 option, just like my favorite game Mario Kart 8 exclusivly on the Wii U and Nintendo 3ds! Keep on slicing slicers!

This unit is well worth the price and it is a perfect addition to your kitchen equipment. I was amazed at how easy it was to cut through potatoes. The blades almost cut through half a potato without me pressing on the handle.

Totally chuffed with it. We wanted something strong and durable that would make the apple season easier. It's both these. Easy to use, and while it doesn't peel the apple it does a great job of coring it and slicing it with minimal effort. We grow Bramleys, which are huge apples, we have to slice the cheeks off so they fit, but that's not an issue. It's still a lot quicker and easier than using the old Avanti apple peeler, corer. My son caught on to making french fries with it too... Easy to clean and store. It's now an indispensable low tech tool that I hope lasts a few lifetimes.

Easy to use and assemble. Blade changing and cleaning are also easy. You don’t have to be a pro but you do need to take care in proper setup. Sharp blades and very functional. You will need to use a food grade lube to allow the guides to easily slide up and down.

I make my own dog food and have to chop sweet potatoes and they are hard...had a regular veggie chopper and it didn't hold up so bought this!! SO VERY HAPPY
