This thing is a beast for the price. I use it weekly to slice 10-15lbs of cheese (mozzarella and aged Gouda) and it eats it up. The thickness dial does have some play in it, so I have to hold the dial in the optimal position while slicing but for the price who can complain?

The unit seems well bult, was easy to set up and ran without issue out of the box. Taking the blade on and off is really easy, and setting the thickness of the cut is also effort less. I would give a 5 based on what I know now, but I have not yet sliced a steak, ham, or roast, and I don't have a history of reliability yet. If those are as expected I would give the higher score. These review requests are always too soon for any practical history.

I have used this a couple times now and find it works well and cleans up easily. Since I don't need to slice things often, that it is small enough to store easily is an asset.

Okay so we don't eat meat but I bought this two sliced bread because everything else I've tried completely ruins it. This thing is great for slicing bread, french fries, zucchini ,pretty much anything I have tried. Zero complaints. And it really doesn't take up that much counter space.

Works really good , use this to make dog treats out of the best meats. Cuts and slices and is user friendly. Good product

I've spent some time in Europe and loved using these there. I finally just bought one. Now I can buy meats in bulk and cut them to the thickness I like. I love getting ribeyes and freezing them and cutting them into thin layers for steak and cheese sandwiches. And. I seem to be eating healthier now. I don't know if that is because I'm thinking about it more or because I'm using this cutter more. I made an eggplant dish the other day with the eggplant cut so thin and then rolled up a beef and pork mixture in it. Threw on some Mediterranean spices and bam..into the skillet. You'll love this thing!

Not bad for the price. Have used it successfully several times now. Fairly easy to clean and seems well made. Only done meat so far.
