We purchased this bandsaw as we felt it would help when processing our venison and because we wanted to save money by processing our own pigs. This past week, with our locker plants help (they skinned and halved the pigs); we finished cutting the chops, hams, etc within an hour and half, having never before cut pigs ourselves. We had a video playing that we could stop as we went about cutting the first pig, and the second and third we didn’t even have to watch!! Clean up is also quite easy!!

This unit is amazing! It was shipped very fast and packaged in a wood box lined with foam very nice! I can't believe for the price how well it's built and the power it has and it came with 6 blades. Great buy!!!!

Just got it in today. It's heavy and very well built. Tested out on a frozen Boston Butt roast and frozen smoked ham. Made perfect steaks! No bogging down, smooth cutting. Some advice- thoroughly clean and sanitize before first use. There's an oily black residue that needs to be cleaned off all the surfaces. Especially the blade. I've seen complaints about blade leaving black residue on cuts. It's carbon steal and needs to be thoroughly clean before each use. Soap and water and use a scotch bright pad to polish and you should be good. Also make sure blade is thoroughly dry after cleaning before reassembly as it can rust. My first time cleaning and sanitizing was about 30 minutes. Top pulley lifts off. Blade door lifts off hinges. Blade guides easy to remove and clean. Was able to clean in the kitchen no problem without having to hose it down. So far, highly recommend.

Wors great. Just little gross when done. Took trial and error but we like it.

Works great! We buy meat in bulk and cut our own steaks, chops, roasts, and such. This is a great saw for the money and what a time saver. My only complaint is the clean up inside the band box. I made a mount for some plastic guides that should help keep out much of the shavings and make cleanup faster.
