Simply, the best.
I have tried three different kinds of binding machines and this is the best budget machine I have found. It comes out of the box, all but ready to work. Use the scrap paper for the first few punches to make sure no residual oil gets on your work. It does the job it is sold for easily, and without hassle. It is big enough to get the job done without feeling like you might break something, but not so large as to dominate your office. You may forget it is there, and the non-garish colors help it blend into the background. (This is helpful in that people may not notice it, and subsequently, want to borrow it.)

Works great!
I teach private piano lessons and bought this to bind the mountains of digital piano books I have on my computer to print. It works wonderfully, and the pages are easy to turn after binding. It seams like a great price for something that is bringing me so much organization! I only took a star off because the instructions were a little tricky to follow…it took a bit for me and my husband (who is much more mechanically-minded than I am) to figure out what it was saying to do. Even after figuring it out, I went back and re-read the instructions to see if they made more sense now that I knew what I was doing, but they didn’t.

Great with a couple caveats
Works well, but two issues for me. 1. Slight curl on the upper right side of the laminate sheets when I use my machine on thicker mm especially. (User error? It’s possible.) 2. Needs a feeder tray as it’s almost impossibly blue to put the sheets in completely straight. Overall I would recommend, if you can deal with the above.

Works Well
I bought this machine for occassional use, which I think is how most people outside of business use them. It works well and I'm really happy with it. I've done about 6 documents of various sizes so far and it has done a really nice job. For the amount of use it will get, I certainly don't need anything more than this machine. I don't intend to punch 12 sheets of 80gsm paper regularly but it did manage it. I know that my partner would have struggled to push the handle down, but it can do it. Normally I would aim to do around half that or less - it is a maximum afterall - because it is much easier and better for the machine. Pull the handle down to punch holes, push the handle back to open the combs. It comes with 100x 10mm binding combs plus instructions. The combs are the perfect size for me as they will hold around 40 to 50 pages as a maximum but most of the things I'll use it for will be far less than that. It can take much bigger combs if needed. I punched the holes and read the instructions about how to bind the document ... but that didn't really help. Online videos show exactly what you need to do. Basically put the comb on the machine (open side up) and push the handle forward to open and stretch out the comb. You don't need to puch it all the way, just enough that it opens the comb and gives you a place to hook your pages on. Then hook your pages over the end of the comb. Once your pages are on (can be a bit fiddly) then pull the handle back to close the comb. Done! I did not buy plastic covers but instead laminated the cover of each document and punched holes in it. Worked well and I will do it that way in the future. I used some A4 card to provide a strong back cover but you could laminate the back as well. It was very easy to put together. The size guide is good, it screws in place and won't move unless you want it to. The switch for choosing between a 3, 4 or 5mm margin is at the rear of the machine, just above the tray that captures the waste from

Great for the Price
This little machine works great for the price. While the punches aren't as sharp as I would like them to be they still get the job done. I haven't had any issues so far. It's a little heavy, but that's to be expected with a large size punch. Overall it's still pretty compact and you can take the handle off to store everything easier. I appreciate that because I have very little storage space!

Just a great tool for the job.
The assembly and set up is explained well enough and the pictures really helped in assembly, setup and binding paper. I went this route as sometimes I am not as organised as I should be and loose papers become mixed and lost. The cost was a good buing point too. A great product and organizing aid.

Spiral Binding Machine
This is not a spiral binding machine, it is a coil binding machine. Parts do not secure correctly. Handle was loose and the screw was too short and would not secure it tightly. The package was also missing the 100 spiral binding supplies. I would not waste your time if you’re looking for spiral binding machine.
