Works great in Texas clay! Sliced through a mixture of gravel and clay. I was able to dig a ditch in a confined space without any problem. If you have an SDA Max tool that will drive this, you'll be happy.

Use this chisel in my two retail flooring stores for tile removal and light scraping of debris off of the slab. Chisel will remove thinset as well but I use a grinder and vacuum to control the dust.

This Will Save Me Energy And Pain
Haven't used it yet to drive a ten foot ground rod into soil, but it's very heavy duty! It will save me a lot of pounding with a manual hammer!

cuts well
I used the Clay Spade to help cut through hard compacted ground around my foundation for a French drain, it worked great ripped through little rocks and hard soil with ease, kept me from swinging the pick axe.
