Here are some things about the instructions: first, they swap left and right. Or at least they refer to the US driver's side as right and the passenger's side as left. Second, they get the order wrong for assembling a bolt. Please put the spring washer between the head of the bolt and the gasket. Third, they refer to the bolts that go into the beam as having nuts. They don't, the car has the threaded sockets. You can, with two people, assemble the unit and lift it into place, but it's pretty heavy for one. However, one person can install in three pieces. If you put up the sides first, then the bar, you need to leave everything very loose or you won't get the bar between the sides. Then, when assembled, you can tighten everything up. You need 18mm sockets and wrenches for most of the bolts and a 16mm socket for the pad nut bolt. The passenger side has a tow chain hook that you will remove. Those bolts are the existing bolts the instructions refer to. The instructions didn't tell what the pad nut is for and I saw one review that suggested the person didn't install it (scary). The driver's side lacks a threaded socket for a vertical bolt, while the passenger side has two. The pad nut fits into a hole in the beam and allows the bolt to attach. That bolt is smaller (M10) than the others (M12). It would be nice if the instructions included torque recommendations for each bolt. A little Loctite might not be a bad idea if you're unsure. In all, I'm pretty happy with the hitch. I like doing jobs myself and I was able to do this one pretty easily. I'm no pro but hopefully this helps you install it and maybe vevor will have someone write instructions that make sense.
