16/12/24 2018 CRV TOWBAR I’m not how it 5 star review on this towbar , I bought 1 both brackets only can get 1 to bolt on other won’t locate no hole for second hold to bolt, contact VEVOR how many times contact them not solve the problem, has over week now still no reply.

I found it best to install the side units first and then, leaving the bolts very loose, install the cross piece. It is a very precise fit and I doubt I could have installed it as a unit. I suspect there may be slight variations between RAV4 units, depending on where they were manufactured. The holes available in my RAV4 were not exactly what was pictured in the directions. My RAV4 also does not have the front end attachments for towing as others have, and I put this down to variations in manufacturing sites. At any rate, the hitch has held up well on many trips with a heavy cargo carrier attached. One thing I would recommend is periodically checking the bolts attaching the unit to the chassis. Mine needed some retightening after the first cross-country trip. The finish on the hitch has held up well with no signs of rust. I have found that Vevor products are always well finished. Highly recommended.

For a price much lower than the competition; I took a chance. It arrived on time and extremely well packaged. Heavy gauge steel. All welds look strong. Paint looks durable. I didn’t spend much time looking at the instructions so I spent way more time correcting my mistakes. All bolts and hardware were correct which might be the first time I’ve had that happen. Probably not an easy installation for a beginner. Quality rivals expensive hitches. Definitely recommend

Fit good except passengers side on frame no bolt hole so drilled frame and tapped to fasten left side bracket

it was nice to install without having to hold the weight of the entire hitch. I just installed each side then attached the center piece and tightened all the bolts. So far so good, I like the little bolt under the receiver that you can tighten to prevent your hitch from rattling.
