It works

We have tried the aluminum rain guard flue cap and it rusts and burns up in a matter of time but so far this one (stainless steel) is doing much better. Time will tell.

A pretty good chimney topper

I like that this is stainless steel and has the double ring to assist in smoke removal. The bird excluder screen has pretty large holes and didn't fit well against the top cover, but I imagine it will keep most things out. It slipped perfectly into my Rhino Rigid stainless liner.

So far so good. Haven't yet cleaned the flue since installing it, but it seems to be working out fine. Well below half the price Home Depot was charging for a similar item so both the price and quality get high marks.

Attractive and functional

I have been looking for a rain cap for my furnace vent for sometime. This one actually keeps the rain out! We get some monsoon type weather and I always heard that tinkle of rain in my chimney vent. This one is actually allows the vent to operate freely and keeps out the rain all with an attractive look.
