If you are buying this then you know what it's for, the frame comes in 3 sections and if set up correctly you can leap frog to do longer slices. I would have silicone spray to lube the rails Definitely drill a extra hole on the chainsaw bar near the motor to hold it more firmly.

Overall great value

Overall great value. The mill itself was relatively easy to assemble and has worked very well so far. The guide rail was also easy to assemble, but is a bit unwieldy. After a couple long cuts, I switched to a 10 ft 2x6. Maybe save a few bucks and get the stand alone mill. I look forward to using it a ton.

Works well

The guide is a must and the easy to reuse spikes hold it in place well. 4 stars due to the bar bolts being short due to the need to double nut them or they vibrate loose causing a dull chain and sparks. Other than that I’d buy it again.
