I'm a diesel mechanic at a copper mine and use it all the time, works well and seems pretty tough so far.

I have other hoists but this one fills a niche very well. A nice tool to use and well put together. Not too heavy to lug around, making it easy to set up for the smaller jobs.

Excellent for small jobs.

Great little unit, takes up no space when storing away, I've used it a few times and it's perfect for those smaller lifting jobs, would definitely recommend.

This is the second one I have bought because the first was good and I wanted to leave it in the place I use it most and have a second for other uses. What I have also done is to make knob piece to go in the screw hole in the handle. For light(ish) loads I can then operate it like to old type twist drill (or car starting handle) which makes to whole process a lot faster and easier. It would be nice if they supplied the hoist with that addition.

Love it works great and for the price impressed used it a bunch with no issues made very well pulls great

Hubby does a lot of DIY projects and finds this helps him to lift heavier items to the work bench so he is not basically 'sitting on the floor'
