I punched 1 1/2” hole thru 3/8” a36 flat bar using a hand pump and it worked great! Time will tell but for $119 can’t pass it up!

This is a hole I punched out the steel is just shy of 5/8 “ by about 17 thousand s .hole is about 11/16 no one seems to know the capacity of this it went through it pretty decent but I would say it seems to be near the upper end . The dies for this is not the greatest the tolerances could be much closer and one or two other small things that’s why I gave it a three star. But still that’s pretty impressive ,I have 2 ch70 and a ch 60 in use.

Works well, and great if you have to punch a few hundred holes!

Early on, I would recommend this device -- no problems at all. I would recommend that a PUMP such as the 250 dollar range air assisted 10,000 PSI be used as a minimum. The electric pumps are likely much faster, but are usually far more expensive at 350 to 500+ dollars.

Buy electric pump, air assist too slow/air demand.

Flimsy Box messed up missing dies, casting not the best, it works with air pump but slow.

Wonderful tool, great price, TERRIBLE dies

This would be a 5 star product if they put a little more attention into the die tolerances. There is a very large size difference between the top “punch” die and the mating “hole” die on the bottom. For thinner metals, it causes it to get “stuck” when releasing, and leaves metal flash/edge that gets caught between the dies during punching that requires time and labor consuming cleanup work later. I really wish the manufacturer would fix this. (Otherwise this is awesome!)
