One of my cats who is 16lbs loves this wheel. He'll hop on and walk to show off. The wheel was pretty easy to assemble, just make sure to read the directions first before assembling, so you have the correct direction on which way screws go to "look better." The wheel isn't too loud and is quite stable. Definitely recommend :)

Decently easy to assemble. Space saver cats love it just as a new hangout, they're figuring it out. Great but decent price.

This was before i added the carpet. But we trained her with a red dot laser pointer and it took close to 3 days and now she does it when ever and appears to enjoy it.

I saw this on the VEVOR website but decided to order it here since I wasn't familiar with the company. I used to own a One Fast Cat wheel, but gave it away when I moved. I like the VEVOR one much better, it has a narrower footprint since the wheels don't stick out on the side, which means you can slide it up against the wall. I also like how the inside of the wheel is covered in actual carpet instead of the foam squares. This wheel is quieter than the other brand, and the wood pannels are pretty. Some of them even had some nice chatoyancy! Assembly takes 1-2 hours, don't rush because you don't want to make a mistake and have to redo a step. They provide an actual screwdriver, but halfway through I realized I could be using my electric drill. That made things go a lot faster. I suggest having someone help you hold pieces steady as you work, but I was able to do 3/4 of the assembly before asking for help. They also provide a feather wand to help train your cat to use the wheel. My cats seem to prefer this wheel to the other brand, I think maybe because it's a little heavier and feels sturdier, and is quieter. It also looks nice, the product photo doesn't do it justice. You don't need a special breed of cat! As you can see, the cat in the photo is just an average domestic shorthair, and she uses the wheel the most. If you're concerned that your cat won't like it, that is a possibility but most will eventually use it if you work with them. The cat's age doesn't matter, I have cats who readily use it and we didn't get a wheel until the cats were already a few years old. Small kittens will usually use it without any prompting or training, in my experience. If your cat won't use it, look up videos on YouTube on how to get your cat to use a wheel, there are lots of strategies that work, but the most important one is patience. These wheels are fantastic for your cat's health, especially if they are inside all day.

This came super quick and the instructions were easy to follow. Our kittens loved it immediately! They started out with some prompting from feather/bell wand that is included and before long they were running on it independently. The cats napped for awhile after all that running too :) Doesn’t take up too much room in our apartment either!! 10/10 Would recommend this product

My only complaint with it is that the base seems like it’s slightly too narrow for the wheel so it kind of scrapes against the wheel at times and doesn’t run as smooth. I tightened the side screws of the wheel itself to see if maybe some were sticking out more and that seemed to fix the majority of the issue. The space in between the base and the wheel is still very narrow though compared to basically the same wheel from another brand that my friend has where the gap is much bigger and therefore no scraping issue on her wheel at all. Overall the kitten size works well for the ferrets, took probably 45 minutes to assemble but it wasn’t difficult just a lot of pieces.

The extra large wheel has exceeded all expectations. The quality of the materials is way better than I expected, the wooden parts are a real nicely finished plywood and the rollers seem to be high quality. The precision of the parts made it extremely easy to build (it took me about three hours though, two people may make it easier and quicker). The supplied screwdriver is a little undersized, so I used a cordless screwdriver for initial build, with a very low torque setting, and hand tightened with the supplied screwdriver to finish. Do NOT use an electric screwdriver without torque control to tighten as overdoing it could prove detrimental. The Velcro tape and carpet track were easy to apply. Most importantly my two kittens, 8 months and 9 months old, have taken to it instantly, one was using it within two minutes of being built. Works perfectly for only 7 lb/8 lb weight cats, walking and running. Antics when they both get on and try to go different directions! Some noise in operation, but not as much as I anticipated, so the detail in the noise reduction works. I will recheck the screws after a week or two of use, but I see this product lasting a long time. My one small complaint is that the instructions were a little strange to understand in places, but following the pictures was okay. Plenty of spare screws are supplied in case your cat decides to help with the build (I did recover the ones they ran off with). I think this is way better than many other similar (and smaller) wheels costing a lot more, and I would definitely recommend it.

This is a very well-built wheel. I am still getting the cat used to it, but I heard it running last night, I just coudn't catch him in it. He is a long cat, but only 12 pounds. I got the extra large one. It still moves freely. I am impressed with the quality.

I had to buy two wheels because my Queen takes the wheel constantly from the boys. Lol
