For the record, it is a little loud when my kitty runs on it but it's essentially a treadmill for them. Nothing is truly silent. Treadmills aren't quiet either. Heck, actual little hamster wheels aren't that quiet either so I'm not sure what everyone that is complaining about expected. On the plus side though, I bought this about a year ago and it has held up super well, my cat likes to sprint on it, go for a quick walk, she also uses the carpet as a secondary scratching post and the carpet has stayed in really good shape and I have not had to reapply it. I'm thinking I may need to get a larger wheel though, my cat has gotten a little bigger so when she sprints she nearly reaches the top! It would be great if the base could be made to be universal for all of the wheel sizes without having to buy and an entirely new wheel set but then what do we do with the old wheel.. Will definitely be upgrading to a bigger one soon!

Purchased one of these in September loved it so much I bought one for my sons cat. He loves it. Put it together by himself just by watching the video on YouTube.

1 of my cats loves to use this every day off and on, the other could care less.

Two of our cats won't go near this, but the third one loves it. He took to it immediately and runs on it multiple times a day. It does make some rumbling so I put a thick yoga mat under it. Make sure the wheel is assembled with all the joints aligned perfectly so it rolls smoothly.

I have minimal diy experience so this took me a bit longer than stated on the instructions (took me around 3 hours), but is sturdy and a great design. Isn’t silent but isn’t too loud. Easy to clean (I hoover carpet area and wipe down wood if necessary). Cats love it perfect to keep them busy. Is stable, doesn’t wobble at all. The sticky pads provided for the carpet piece are super strong. Overall I’m very happy with this and would recommend it

I don't normally leave reviews but this one absolutely deserves it - over the last 24 hours from the completion of my building of the wheel, my cat has been absolutely obsessed with this thing. We didn't even have to entice her with food! The package included a feather toy that immediately made my kitty go wild for it, and just holding it up in the wheel makes the little furball run like there's no tomorrow. Now, she even goes to the wheel on her own, without us holding up a toy, and just runs for the sake of it! She's gotten so much exercise today that I am so impressed - I never thought she was an active cat as mostly she just lounged about, but this wheel seems to have awakened something in her that makes her want to run in reckless abandon. (That said, this thing was a lot BIGGER than I expected; mistake is on me for confusing 52 inches with 52 cm, so now I am in a bit of a bind on where to put this MASSIVE wheel in the flat, but kitty seems to enjoy the running space, so I can't really complain!)

This wheel is fantastic, and very easy to build,I slowly built it over a fews day, and kitties where always around watching what was going on, and I intoduced them to the wheel built and lay flat on floor, jumping in and out, and over it, next I put carpet on, and lock on wheel, again so they get used to it, still in process of getting them to get on it and move wheel, but they will get there, all in all, its a fantastic size for my kitties, who are 5kg and 6kg, its also very lightweight, so can be moved easily from room to room if need be, I especially like the locking mechanism on it, so when I have to leave house, i can put lock on it so I know they wont hurt themselves, its all about the 🐈🐈🐾🐾

Our Turkish Angora was getting a bit disgruntled running around our home around the furniture. It took a few weeks to coax her into using it, but now she runs flat out on this wheel every day (and occasionally at night). It makes a noise, but no worse than human exercise equipment does and because it's not too wide, it sits comfortably against a wall without taking up too much space. It also has a grab hold for easily moving it to hoover or sweep underneath. My husband built the wheel by himself with ease and our 6kg cat has hours of fun on it without any issues, and it has helped her to maintain a healthy weight. It is also very sturdily made so I am happy for her to use it. Overall, a very worthwhile purchase.
