Took me about 2 hours to build and sand on my own. He jumped on and got the hang of it right away. The next morning he wanted to use it before we even had breakfast. He seems delighted with it. The wheel is huge in person and he seems comfortable running on it. There was one spot where the wheel was rubbing on the base as it passed but I flipped the wheel around and the rub went away. It is reasonably quiet.

It was easy to put together by myself with a cordless drill on a low power setting. There were LOTS of leftover screws and such in the hardware bag. The printed instructions included good info that’s not in the assembly video, but it failed to mention anything at all about the smaller bracing pieces which was in the video. After unpacking everything, I sprayed the carpet runner with a bit of catnip and let them play around with it so they’d be a little familiar with its scent. I let them play in and around the base after assembly as well. Those two new things helped keep them busy while I worked on putting the wheel together. As soon as I got it finished, they were on it with no encouragement needed. The attached video is just 20 minutes after assembly. This guy is just 8 months old and he’s already a bit possessive of it. It’s sturdy, safe, a great size, a good value and performs flawlessly.

I became an insta-cat lady and needed something to help burn zoomie energy from 5 10-mo olds and their under 2 yr old mother. Even with all the shelves and poles they need more to burn off all that energy. I love the locking feature as the 52\" wheel is in my bedroom. It's not too loud but definitely not quiet enough to sleep thru. It's light enough so if they start bugging me I can easily move it to the living room at night. They've all taken to it but I'm hoping the mom uses it more over time. So far none are dominating and even the littlest, who's 6 1/2 or 7 lbs, can get the wheel flying. Got the biggest size because the largest of the litter isn't done growing and he's already 15 lbs. The extra large wheel is worth it to get that full body stretch with a straight back (and cool to watch). This size would work for an average Maine Coon. They've only been using it a few days but I'm thinking it was a good choice. Quality looks good. My son didn't have a problem putting it together even with the directions. We got a good laugh out of them for sure. I looked at reviews before buying and agree it's much much better with two people to asseble. If you don't have carpet get a rug with some no-slip otherwise it'll move throughout the day. Again, it's only been assembled a few days but at this time I'm already thinking of purchasing a second one when I have the space.

As a household with 4 indoor cats, I'm not sure who loves this more, the cats or us! Took to it quickly and they often use it on their own without supervision. Quality material and easy to put together. Quiet enough for cats to use at night without us being bothered.

Large cat wheel, spins well and is stable but can be quite noisy when cat is running at full speed.

The written instructions aren't the greatest, so I highly suggest looking at you tube channel Tech Angel.. She has a great assembly instruction video. Once I watched her video, I understood the assembly. The wheel rolls quietly.. Moreso than I expected. I have one cat that has taken to it immediately, and one cat being cautious. It's a beautifully made product.. My main complaint, is some of the screws, the heads aren't made well and some strip too easily. I had to use pliers to loosen those up and replace with a fresh screw. Fortunately, we are given extra screws.. Very thoughtful. The four star is because of the less than stellar screw quality.

A bit of a challenge to put together, but once you get the hang of it, not too bad. Cat's will not even get on it and try it, hoping they will change heir mind soon.

Das Katzenlaufrad kam sauber und wie beschrieben an. Der Aufbau war relativ simpel. Es dreht sich gut und flüssig. Unsere beiden Kater (beide 3 Jahre alt) haben es nach ein paar mal Zeigen und Training mit Leckerlis und Spielzeug verstanden und gehen jetzt schon alleine „joggen“. Ich würde jedem Haushalt mit Hauskatzen diesen Artikel empfehlen! Wir haben uns extra für den größten Radius des Rads entschieden, damit die Kater beim Laufen nicht zu sehr ins Hohlkreuz fallen. Als kleiner Tipp: den Teppich entweder über Nacht ordentlich auslegen lassen oder kurz bügeln, da er sonst im Rad Falten wirft.

I love it, and my cat loves it. She's still learning how to get used to it, but it's amazing. It moves easily and looks great. The assembly time was long, but worth it

We’ve had our cat wheel for about 8 months now and 4 of our 5 cats love it! I figured we’d be lucky if 1 or 2 ended up using it, so 4 really is amazing! Sometimes they try to use it 2 at a time and they “argue” over whose turn it is like a bunch of kids. The 1 cat that won’t even give it a try is our 11 year old and he’s a bit grumpy anyway. Our other cats range in age from 2 to 8, male and female. We have the 52” model and it is large but it provides so much exercise and fun for our cats I’m glad we bought it. If you have the space for it I would recommend giving it a try.
