We measured - this *SHOULD* go without an issue on several airlines we frequent. When we had smaller dogs, was easier to carry them across the airport, but 10 pounds can get heavy between Gate A and Gate D. Good design giving lots of room inside for your baby. Wheels and frame give a sturdy base on which to roll. Casters smooth and will be fine on smooth floors (not for off-roading). The zippers and connectors work great and the nylon/net seem sturdy enough to contain all but those who seriously do not want to fly. I had a backpack type carrier with wheels that was \"tolerated\" by my old pup from years back, but this seems like a much less disruptive ride. I'm impressed and anxious to get to use it, because hopefully it will mean a less stressful trip back home.

Needed to transport a small dog from my mom’s house to mine. This involved two car trips, two flights, and a three-hour layover. I’m not a young person, the idea of carrying a 16 lb dog all day was not attractive. Purchased this item hoping it would save me- and it did! Easy to detach carrier from the roller base, wheels easy to detach from base. Fit nicely under Southwest seat. Fairly easy to reassemble at destination. Wheels do wander a bit when moving, but not unmanageable. I opened the sides up during our layover, dog enjoyed being able to stretch, I was happy she was safe in the carrier. Must detach from base to open the sides and use them, but it’s easy to detach (Velcro.)

Unlike many of the other fabric rolling carriers, this was is roomy enough for my 18# cat. I wanted a carrier that can easily fold up for storage in my small apartment. This has 3 ways of unzipping to place cat inside, plenty of ventilation, 2 good-sized pockets on one side for storage. It comes with a cozy fur insert that can be removed and cleaned, and a duffle-bag type shoulder strap if you prefer to not use wheel base. It was easy to assemble (sides just zip up, zippers are good quality and close smoothly), and thick velcro straps attach to base with wheels. Wheels glide all directions and the handle adjusts like rolling suitcase. The top and side screened openings have a flap that can be used to cover \"window\" if your pet prefers privacy. I doubt this would fit beneath a plane seat, and I would not recommend this carrier if your pet flies in any other compartment without owner present, as there is only a flexible frame built into the fabric. Although the carrier does not collapse or buckle, it will not withstand any heavy object placed on top. Goes without saying, not suitable for feral cats. This is a perfect solution for car transport to vet.

This is a really sharp looking bag! It’s a good size - big enough for two small puppies at once. As the dogs grow, we’ll graduate to a second bag, but for now, this is the perfect size. The fold-out extensions allow for plenty of room to move around, however the mesh is very prone to tearing if your dogs are chewers, so beware and always monitor your pups when they’re in the bag.

I had a hard carrier and my cat didn’t like it (almost hate it). But he loves this carrier and even stays inside.

My cat has put on weight and the hand carry carrier was getting too heavy for me to handle when I had to take her to the vet.
