It does reduce sound noticeably. Although, to reduce noise in vehicles you'll have to remove all wires and interiors to have an effective noise reduction. Maybe you could consider this as a new project to learn more about your car or purchase a vehicle with sound deadening pre-installed. Physicists study noise and this is one hell of a task.

Worked great for the door of our car

I ordered 1 at first but after seeing the quality I ended up ordering 6 more rolls to installed them on my Chevy Astro to use as a camper van, it does a great job keeping the temperature a bit cooler on hot days… but you still need a type of A/C and fans but does a great job and its a great value for the price!! It’s really easy to install and keeps sound at bay, seems durable and good quality too

I think I paid $18 per 25sqft and I got the best deal I could have imagined. Make sure to clean the surface with a degreaser and then with soapy water. Works great, easy to work with, finished result is perfectly adequate. The only downside is it is easy enough to rip the top foam layer, but that’s easily resolved by not sliding around on it while installing. Lift your knees and feet and you’re good to go. Definitely has a stink for a bit, but that’s good. It is butyl after all. If it didn’t smell I’d be worried haha. 200mil thickness is about 2mm or so but with MLV on top, any thicker and you’d have an almost impossible time reinstalling interior. I can’t really tell if it’s made a difference in heat or temperature.

I used these to stop some of the reverb from my exhaust in my tahoe and wasn't sure they would help but worth a try and it definitely did what I wanted to do

I expected a cheap product because of the price, bought this for my ford t250 for a van conversion build and it was enough for my entire van and works AMAZING

Used it add sound deadening to an old truck. Worked great. Used a big socket as a roller. The air bubbles crush flat when the product is installed correctly.

This was received quickly and works perfectly for the purpose it was purchased for. turned out i had even more uses for it, that first planned. Great product at a great price. Thanks, VEVOR!
