You can literally clip off buds throw them in the machine and it will trim pretty close. Huge time saver. Down side a lot of trichromes get stuck on grate like scissor hash alot rubs off the buds. Still worth it if you have a lot to trim. Hand trim colas and big buds do smalls in machine. Happy herbs
