I haven’t had the opportunity to use these tongs yet. They feel like their quality made and have good length. I’m anticipating the time when I can use them.

Great feel and excellent grip. These are well made and are a great starting point for anyone getting into blacksmithing. The reigns are a little heavy but you get used to them

I have been blacksmithing for quite a few years, I bought these to try them out and see how useful they were as a potential starter set for someone starting blacksmithing. I was very impressed with both the offset and bolt jaw style tongs, they work well over a wide range of material sizes. they are a bit large and a bit cumbersome for the sort of work I generally do, but entirely workable (I am more of an artisan blacksmith than an industrial blacksmith) . The wolf jaw tongs were not really wolf jaws, just a set of wavy flat jaws.They work well enough though as flat jaw tongs. My final say - for the price, at about $28 dollars a set of tongs, (about half the price you will pay anywhere else here in Australia) they are well worth the money and a worthwhile investment for someone starting out. Getting a good grip on your work is essential for a blacksmith, and having these on hand when you are learning, will give you a wide range of material handling capability.

For the price, these are a great starter set for someone getting in to blacksmithing. Well made ...

so I have now had a bit of time to use these tong. although I knew they would be useful, I was quite surprised at the quality of them. they are beefy and strong. hold my work well. I am rather inpressed with that and very glad I bought them. when I bought them it came out to about $18 a tong. I can't make them for that much once you add up the cost of the metal and gas. the only thing I wish is that they also offered these tongs on other sizes as well.

These tongs are well made and are very sturdy. I have used them for a month now and still look like they are brand new. I would recommend them.

I usually do not leave reviews but I had to for these tongs. These are really nice tongs! I have 7 pairs of tongs including these and this is the best of them all.

Great tongs and very easy to use. Rivet is solid and tongs open smoothly and easily.

I purchased this set of tongs because frankly, I can't make them for this cost. So far I have been pleasantly surprised. Recently making a set of hatchets I found the hammer eye tong to be particularly useful. The tongue rings and have a ball at the end to allow using tong clamps to hold them shut. On square stock the v bit songs have a good grip. The reins are beefy.
