Great anvil for the price. Cleaned it up upon arrival and now using for knife making. Shipped fast and secure.

9 lb anvil - Looks good
I haven't used it yet so I can't comment on its strength, thus the 4 stars instead of 5, but it looks strong, has a generous work area, is cast steel, heavy enough for lighter beatings and I expect it will be perfect for smaller jobs. It isn't in the category of my larger anvils, but not everything that needs a beating requires a 90+ pound anvil in order to apply that beating. This one will be easy to move around while supplying a highly usable work surface, for a good price.

Everybody need an anvil..
This heavy beast is perfect for just flattening and other [holy-crap-its-ment] things. It's a \"glad I have one\" king of tool.

A great work tool.
After looking for a decent priced anvil for over a year I ran across this one from Vevor. I would really like an old anvil, but the prices on those have become astronomical for even the ones that are cracked and have rounded edges. After reading several reviews and talking to some local blacksmiths I pulled the trigger on this one. I am not disappointed. It is well made, cast steel, with crisp edges and a great finish. Rebound is exceptional. Do I wish it was American made? Sure do. In the meantime I'll take out my frustrations by beating the crap out of this anvil in my little shop. If it fails or has issues, I'll update my review. If you're on the fence about whether or not to buy this, I'd go with it until something better comes along. I wish it was a little bigger also, but the 66 pound model is working very well for me.

If you looking for an anvil with the quality of an American or European offering, this is not for you. The Hardy hole is cast so poorly it will need a lot of work before it is usable. The "round" horn was cast very rough, not hardened and needed to be completely redressed and polished. But, all of that said, the flat surface of the Anvil is very nice and hardened. And I just needed to dress up the sharp edges before getting started. So what's my overall opinion ? Well, I gave it four stars because it does take a few hours to get things dressed up and usable. But because of the price I was okay with that. And my son and I are both looking forward to this new chapter in our lives with the Vevor 110# anvil front and center in our shop.

Impressive Anvil .
Impressive 66 pound anvil for smaller forge work and will be an asset in your workshop/smithy. Don't think you will find better quality for the price.

Surprised by QUALITY
anvil arrived quickly, crated up securely, and in perfect condition. Cleaned off shipping oil and dressed the edges to my liking and put it to use. Great rebound on the anvil, shelf is nice and hard, and after 4 months of use I can confidently say this anvil is worth much more than I paid for it.

A good beginner anvil
Like the two burner forge and the stainless steel work bench, this is a good beginner anvil. Ideal for small work, however I can see that wanting to get a bigger one will be on the cards at some time. I have mine mounted on a stump and have it on a bed of silicon and bolted it down. There is a bit of casting marks, so you will need to get a grinder or sandpaper on the horn and it is all good to go!
