Big hunk o' steel
It wants me to rate 3 things... thickness, value for money, and sheerness. As far as thickness goes, DAMN BOI. Value for money? You bet your thicc ass. Sheerness, well, if I dropped it on my bare foot it'd probably sheer off my toes, so 10/10

Great
It does rust out in the weather a little bit.

Great starter anvil
I bought this after seeing the prices of original anvils. This one is cast steel which is a step up from my cast iron one. The hardee hole is not 25 mm as advertised so not sure if I am going to open it up or leave it as is yet. The horn is a bit of larger diameter also but I can work with it. Overall good solid anvil and much cheaper alternative than and original forged one.

Great for the price. Not stellar, but great for the price.
My main point is I love it for the price. I got the 132 lb-er for $285 delivered, but it'd be great for $340. The finish isn't great. The horn required a lot of grinding and flap disc to get smooth. The face is much better (milled smooth) but still has a few pits. I'm a hobbiest & don't make knives so no worries. There's no step. The pritchel hole is in a weird spot and is huge 1-1/8". It's on the horn w about 1/16 cutting into the face. I'll drill another smaller on by the hardie hole. Hardie hole is pretty square and 1-1/8". Face seems a bit soft but I haven't actually tested it. Still, I love it. 2 final notes. 1) The box it comes in is only so it can stack & pallet lift. The anvil will arrive with the flimsy box busted and the anvil sticking out ... But who cares? 2) Get the biggest one you can afford unless you're using it for jewelry. Once it's out if the box and off the ground, carrying an anvil isn't much harder than carrying a person of the same weight. In short, you'll be able to move Vevor's bigger ones

Great for the price
Awesome for the price! Please note, you arent paying for a high quality anvil, Like...at all.. BUT it is very good for the price and gets the job done. Has a good ring to it and decent recoil. Not the best, but good. The BLUE color is butt ugly, so i ground that down and oiled it. It is also mold formed steel. So there is ALOT of flaws like gouges in the metal. Nothing a welder and some grinding couldnt fix. There was noticeable welds that were pre done from factory. I just added to it to smooth out. Top surface was smooth. Just rounded the edges and cleaned up he hardy hole. Alot of burrs and rough edges. Over all would buy another if i needed it!

Super pour un débutant !
Je suis un débutant et c'est parfait pour forger. Le dessus a fini par être bosselé, mais ça m'empêche pas de m'amuser à forger. Pour un débutant c'est super !

Good for the price, few quirks.
So I got one of these anvils not long after Old Hickory Forge posted his review video, mine came with some kind of clear coat on the face, (which I only noticed after trying the anvil the first time and the coating burned and stank) and the horn was painted, and still rough casting texture. I attacked the thing with a flap disc, got the coating off the face, dressed up the edges, The ring on the thing is fierce. Mounted down to my loose stump gets it tolerable, I think if I had a set stump it’d calm it down more. The pritchel hole is mostly worthless due to its location, but I did make some holdfasts that work in it. The hardy hole is a bit to close to the body of the anvil, so if you are punching through the hardy, your punch can hit the body/foot of the anvil and get stuck. Not world ending, but makes drifting a bit touchy.I just made a bolster plate that works like a saddle to more or less let you use the hardy as a pritchel, will see how helpful that is.Only real complaint is the location of the hardy/pritchel holes, and the horn on mine is kinda awkwardly fat, more like the toe of a boot instead of a cone. If I get fed up enough with the horn I may try and grind it down to a more useful shape. All said, for starting out and working on smaller projects it is a perfectly acceptable starter anvil. The double horn really does come in handy for dealing with small pieces, and the price is hard to beat.

Cast iron
Use full tool.$90 for a cast iron anvil.Cast iron is brittle and soft. The anvil dents easily but thats to expected from cast iron.Don't use a 10lbs hamer on it ,you'll brake it.If it becomes to much dented flip it upside down on a belt grinder.Otherwise spend $250 for Carbon steel one
