Ok so I am totally a new Bee Ha Ha to this hobby and felt this is a good entry level hive. The hive was very well packaged and received no damage at all. The outer frame has a good thick coating of wax on it and the frame when together well. The inner sections while stated no glue is needed is hard to believe because you will need to either nail it or glue it. The inner frames will not stay together without one or the other. I choose to use waterproof wood glue. The entire hive went together very well and should hold up to several years out in the weather. No just got to get some bees to do some work..Hope this helps and thanks..

Impressed with the wood quality. Frames were easy to assemble once I had one or two under my belt. At the advice of other beekeepers, we drilled 1/4 inch holes in the upper corners of each frame to allow bee passage.

Good quality! Very sturdy! Well made! Definitely worth the craftsmanship. Good price as well! Good first year boxes to start with. No complaints!

Well made hive boxes. Went together quickly and easily. Natural flaws in the wood had been patched with wood filler and sanded smooth. Joints were accurate and tight. Holes were pre-drilled for screws. Lid, cover board and bottom board are all solid and well made. Over all a top quality bee hive. I was impressed when the first one came so I bought a second one. It's just as good. Well pleased.

Super easy to assemble. All you need to start a hive only thing missing are some nails. Already bought another it was so simple.

i bought three of these hives; all of them went together quite easily, the first one was the learning curve one; once it was put together the other two were easy. I would give five stars but on one of the three the dovetails were cut backwards so the logo on the exterior of the hive is upside down; not that the bees will care at all but I like consistency. The nails provided for the boxes were weird; some of the boxes did not have enough nails while others had too many. After assembling all three boxes, I had two extra nails so it worked out for me but if you only buy one box, you may end up with not enough or too many nails I guess. Overall great value.

This was easy to put together and has held up well. We have some pretty crazy weather here and so far I'm very happy with how well it's held up. The bees put a lot of wax around the window but I can still peek in and check on them which I love!

This is amazing now I have honey 🍯 😍 easy to assemble, sturdy, built to last. I look forward to purchasing more!

Went together well once found a rhythm, tapped first piece together with mallet and split it, no big deal wood glued the crack and was a little more gentle on the rest.

Instructions and pictures are hard to follow, by someone who has not put one together before. After that it gets really easy. If a side wont slide into the other side, slide the other side into the first one. Everything fit really tight and solid. Pretty good item all in all.
