No clue what the previous reviewer is talking about - this worked fine in deep, soft sand for me. The important thing to remember though is that NOTHING works perfectly in deep, soft sand. Even the best balloon wheels will drag on occasion. They just drag less and roll much smoother than hard rubber or plastic wheels, which basically cut trenches until they seize.That being said, this is a perfectly fine, if cheaply-made beach cart. Steel piping that seems well fit and very durable for now. A bit more noticeably heavier than aluminum, but not too bad. I don't expect this cart to last forever (nothing does anymore) but it's a solid cart that should last for many years. One final note is that I'd recommend bungee ties over the nylon straps that come with it, as they just hold bags and looser items like that closer to the cart.
