This is a good unit, but to make it a fantastic unit, it needs to have the ability to fit hand welding probes. Also, the length of the foot pedal cable needs to be 30cm longer. Other than those couple of items it is a good machine and easy to use.

I love the power and versatility of this welder. Good cables. Easy to dial up for thick nickel strips, down for thin.

Had some issues but this seller made everything 100 Percent right. Highly recommend this unit!

I purchased this battery welder as a replacement for a small portable unit that I had for about four years. The previous model (Kerpu brand) never really worked as well as I hoped for. The Kerpu encountered issues a few years ago and I had to replace the cables. The Kerpu finally died (battery failure to recharge) a few months ago. I was able to make battery packs but some connections were less than desirable and I was welding 6-8 times to keep the nickel strips in place, at full power. The welder came within 7-8 days and I was able to set it up within 2-3 minutes. The difference between this welder and my old portable was night and day. I have the power gear setting at 3.5 and it welds nickel strips perfectly. I'm using 1mm pure nickel and this welder has no problem getting the job done. It takes a few seconds for the voltage to catch back up when I'm humming along. I probably would have been happy with the less expensive model, but I'm completely satisfied with this purchase.

Works great for making 18650 battery packs. I got strong welds at around half power. It automatically fires when touching both probes to a conductive surface. The included metal strip appears to be nickel plated steel, not pure nickel.

Well made and precise control. I hope the welder tips are smaller and bench top setup is available for automation.

Very pleased so far with this spot welder,I Mainly repair power tool batteries and this works very well for that activity. Once caps charge up(2-3) mins at most,it keeps up with welding quite easily. As ohers have pointed out its not a production welder,for the price its been a good choice for medium pack builders.

This is the worse investment I ever did ; costumer service is so bad I purchased this machine came defective and still can’t resolve the problem the process is a complete joke I probably lost my money but I believe lost more than me because I was a good client and I but few items from the brand never direct from them true different carriers the machine is disappointed
