Purchased this tool to build some battery cables and to add an additional charging system to a camper. Using #2 AWG wire I required the 35MM crimp setting on the crimper. This is a heavy built crimper and I can't imagine breaking it in my lifetime. Adjusting the die to it's appropriate setting was straight forward and easily acomplished. The crimps seemed to be solid and the wires did not sdlip from the crimped connectors I used. However, I was slightly dissapointed in the crimp. Maybe a little OCD; but, the crimps on the 35MM setting were somewhat elongated and not symmetrical. Meaning that the 6 sided crimp was not a uniform 6 sided figure but more of a 6 sided egg shape. Still the crimps seemed to hold fine.
