This tool works very well. Seems to be good quality.

Works great. Heavy duty. Makes a nice crimp. Good selection of dies. Almost takes two people to hold everything in place to make the crimp, I expected that.

Take your time and do a practice one. This tool gave me perfect crimps on 1/0 gauge copper lugs. I go real slow to just start the crimp because u really need 3 hands. After it's perfectly aligned then u can finish the crimp. Don’t over pump it, follow the direction. Add your heat shrink tubing before u crimp. I really like this tool. Somebody posted the sae to metric conversion in the reviews.

This crimper is outstanding. I've crimped cable from 4 ga to 00 ga. Makes a perfect crimp you would have to cut to get the terminal off the cable. Just remember to stop pumping the handle when the dies contact each other, you'll blow a seal if you don't.

For the DIY solar install this tool is great! The dies are in metric so you need to experiment with the size depending on lugs and wire.
