I I'm using this in my bedroom and for an indoor outdoor carpet it is soft and it is durable and I believe it is a very good product for the price and quality. sharp scissors and I'll make cutting it so easy.

Bought this rug to protect floor when using folding chairs and tables in my living room. Works great for what I need it for.

Our standard poodle is an extremely sloppy water drinker, and after trying a variety of things to manage the water being constantly slung around the kitchen, we thought to give boat carpet a try. We have a narrow, galley style kitchen (I guess that is fitting, right? HA!) so it was an easy install. And it works! Water is absorbed and dries quickly. No more stepping in big puddles of water. Just an idea for anyone looking for a solution.
