After comparing a lot and having cheap set this one was the best for price and got it on sale with pump etc nice storage case would like more space to store other ac tools and parts but have to find extra case for accesdories

Needed a set of gauges to do AC work on my machinery. This does the jobs nicely. Also has adaptors/SAE fittings so can check pressures on our cold room. Live in a remote/rural area so can get some info for the technicians before they come out.

Good quality to work on cars, as a person who used gauges professionally for over 20 years- this works just fine, all gauges regardless of price need to be verified as in tightened, calibrated, they don’t just work out of the box most of the time. These are just as good as more expensive models.

I bought this set to use during the installation of a mini-split HVAC unit on my house. It worked fine. This set is really designed for servicing the A/C system in your car which I am sure it would work very well for but it probably wasn't the best choice for a mini-split install since the gauge is not very accurate at the lower vacuum levels required for evacuating the system and checking for leaks. It did get the job done, however, so I really can't complain too much. The set comes with a fairly large range of adapters which makes it quite versatile. The hoses are long enough to be able to hang the gauges where you can see them while working which is often not the case for inexpensive gauge sets. Finally the case is kind of a cheap blow molded plastic but it neatly and compactly stores everything so as far as I am concerned it is a winner. if you are looking for an inexpensive, general purpose HVAC gauge set I would definitely recommend this set.
