It isn't the best chimney sweep out there but it is well worth it for the money. My one complaint is one of the links came undone and it fell down my chimney. It took me a while to get it back but no harm no foul. Still worth the price.

This thing works like a charm. It took out all the buildup in my pipes ona pellet stove. To bad I can't get the attachment only for the dryer vent. This attachment would destroy a dryer vent.

I bought the 8m kit. I needed 7 rods. Wear a mask, and be sure to close off your firebox opening. I used heavy paper and 12 magnets. I sealed it off pretty well, there was a talcum powder fline layer of soot all over the place. My snot was black as well. If you are complaining about short strand life, go buy a spool of heavy weed wacker line, and replace them. Use the allen key that came w/ it and dismantle the head. Cut 15 new strands and put it all back together. I wish it was shipped this way. My strands were zip tied down. I messed with it a week before use to flatten them out some.

This is awesome. I tried the cheaper one at first and it didn't do anything... this worked 100%. Chimney is super clean now. But make sure you do something to keep the dust down... notnjust put a vaccumm at the bottom... I tried that and it made a fine layer of ash in the ENTIRE HOUSE. But my Chimney is clean and it was my fault product worked great.

Did not want to pay $300 to have our wood stove chimney cleaned. Skeptical at first if this would even work. It's a 2 person job as I ran the brush up the chimney while my wife held the shop vac in the stove. (highly recommended!). Got as much junk out of the chimney as going from the top down. Go slow up and down as you add and remove sections of the device. Pleasantly surprised.

came in very quick ,was what I order and was a very good price ,but it was made from a litghter materal than I expected and went together very well time will tell how well it takes the wear and tear over all I`m happy with my purchase.

pitch of our roof is on an 8 12 with metal roof so going from the top down is not a good ideal have not cleaned it since we moved in 15 years ago so was glad to run across this product did a great job the first time and easy enough to use, I made sure it was clean and did it a second time.
